“Amy was so fun and easy to work with. With her expertise, we were able to create our dream kitchen”

Like many homes built in the 80s, our floor plan included lots of rooms: a distinct kitchen, dining room and front room. I sketched and doodled and wracked my brain about how we could expand our kitchen without adding onto our house and without losing or replacing any of our relatively new windows. Angie at Paramount Kitchens didn’t just design a kitchen that works – she designed a kitchen we love. Our refrigerator ended up being somewhere I could have never imagined; the island shape and design that I had my eye on from the beginning worked beautifully because she knew it was something I loved. If it’s possible, Angie will figure out a way to make it happen. Paramount Kitchens doesn’t start a project on paper, they start in person. Angie took the time to listen closely as she learned about our family, our lifestyle and my long list of kitchen ideas as I showed her sketches and shared visions for what I wanted in our kitchen and first floor. She started with a few preliminary designs, we narrowed it down and continued to work through the details down to the drawer pulls. Part of our kitchen now sits in what used to be our dining room, as well as a built-in desk and cabinets on one wall. Our dining room table is now in our front room with a barn door to divide it from the kitchen area. Limitations are part of home remodels because you aren’t starting from scratch and there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way. Angie was quick to resolve them and provided outstanding customer service. She truly cared about this project as if it was in her own home. Angie went with me to look at lighting and faucets. She helped me pick out the floor, paint color, and answered this question countless times in person and on emails and texts: “What do you think of this?” She was honest, fun and helped me get unstuck when I couldn’t make up my mind. We had other plans drawn up twice from a kitchen design business with an awesome showroom. Remember those model kitchens aren’t your kitchen in your house. I learned a lot in this process, but mostly I know we picked the right design firm in Paramount Kitchens.

My experience working with Angie Taggart at Paramount Kitchen & Bath was easy, fun, and extremely enjoyable. We needed Angie’s vast knowledge and guidance to make our new kitchen suit the unique characteristics of our 100-year-old home, and Angie was respectful of our budget needs. We met several times in the Paramount showroom so I could touch and see the cabinets and understand their functionality, and then she was on-location throughout the remodeling process to ensure the construction went flawlessly. She thoughtfully listened to everything I said about how I wanted the space to look, work, and feel, and she also made suggestions that improved those goals. As a result, she created a beautiful, functional kitchen that is the center of our family’s lives.

My husband and I are big fans of the Paramount Kitchen and Bath team. We have used Angie’s design skills on three major renovations in the past four years. We own two properties and Angie helped us remodel two kitchens, two master bathrooms and a family room. We were so pleased with our first experience that we never considered using anyone else. Angie was an excellent listener and brought us design ideas that were in line with the look we were hoping to achieve. Her ideas were innovative and she was knowledgeable in the lastest technologies and trends. For example our master bathroom has a pull out drawer with an electrical outlet to store hair dryers and flat irons. Angie is well connected with contractors and suppliers in the area and all did excellent work. The Paramount Kitchen and Bath team delivered cabinetry and supplies and if something did not meet our expectations they willingly made it right. I highly recommend the services Paramount Kitchen and Bath provide.
I have worked with Amy Dillman on three different projects and most recently on my master bath remodel. The quality of both Paramount Kitchen and Bath cabinets and Amy’s design expertise were great. I’ve referred them to a friend who is now doing a kitchen remodel through them. I don’t do referrals if I have any doubts about the integrity, quality or experience of the person / business. I am confident my friend will be as pleased as I am. Amy definitely makes a huge project much less stressful!
