Our History

Mike Simpson founded Paramount Kitchen and Bath in January 2010. Tuned to the current economy, he opened a kitchen and bath company with a low overhead that maintained the needs of his current builders and referral business. Within a year, he saw tremendous growth and needed additional designers to help. Having reliable designers has equipped Paramount with the tools to run a successful business. Having over 60 years of combined experience enables them to offer the essential knowledge and service fundamental to this industry. Most of those years of experience were spent here in the Des Moines area, where each cultivated a significant commitment to the surrounding communities. Paramount makes a conscious effort to buy locally to help support the local economy.

Our Mission

The adjective paramount means: 'more important than anything else' or 'supreme,' which is Paramount's aim. Paramount Kitchen and Bath seeks to keep our client needs a top priority by offering great products built into functional design at an affordable price!
